Karina didn’t follow the path. She built a completely different one.
Before Belle Cherie, there was mining. Government. A lectureship teaching the Diploma of Beauty Therapy. Studies in business commerce. A career that most people would have stayed in, because it was stable, credentialed, and safe.
Karina walked away from it in her late 20s to build something the beauty industry hadn’t seen before. Twelve years, 100+ trained professionals, and a studio rebuilt from scratch more than once later, it’s fair to say the decision paid off.
Belle Cherie exists because Karina refused to do what everyone else was doing. The single needle fine line method she pioneered locally, the business knowledge she passes to every student, the meticulous standard she holds in every treatment, none of it came from following an industry template. It came from someone who brought an entirely different world of experience into a beauty studio and decided to raise the bar permanently.
For clients, that means results designed around your face, not a trend.
For students, that means training from someone who has built a real business, rebuilt it when she had to, and knows exactly what it takes to go from learning a skill to earning a living from it.
Most mentors teach the technique. Karina teaches everything else too.

Meet Allen, our dedicated Course Coordinator and Karina’s Executive Assistant, who plays a key role in keeping both the academy and day-to-day operations running smoothly at Belle Cherie. From managing Karina’s busy schedule and supporting students throughout their training journey to overseeing course administration and client communications, Allen is often the friendly face and voice behind the scenes.
With a diverse background in education, customer service, retail, administration, and digital marketing, Allen brings a unique combination of organisation, creativity, and people-focused support to her role. Her experience as an Educational Assistant has given her a strong understanding of learning and student development, allowing her to provide guidance and encouragement to students throughout their training.
Passionate about helping others succeed, Allen is committed to creating a positive and seamless experience for both clients and students. Whether she’s coordinating academy enrolments, assisting with course assessments, supporting marketing initiatives, or helping clients with their appointments, she approaches every interaction with professionalism, warmth, and genuine care.
Together, Allen and Karina make a dynamic team, working closely to ensure every client and student receives exceptional support, high-quality education, and a welcoming experience from start to finish.
